The most legendary rock formation our country ever produced dives into their impressive debut album 'Worst Case Scenario' with you. With nods to Frank Zappa, R.E.M., Don Cherry and The Velvet Underground, Antwerp's finest on W.C.S. grosses in idiosyncratic prog rock, sultry jazz, conjuring indie, a touch of punk finished off with intriguing lyrics. A record unanimously hailed as a masterpiece that propelled dEUS toward the top of global alternative music regions. And that's where Tom Barman and his band can still be found today!
With 'Contigo', singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and pride of Kortrijk, Jinte Deprez shook off an intense breakup. Eleven songs drenched in lush melodies and lyrics that aim straight for the heart. Musical catharsis for the soul. And further proof that Jinte Deprez, as a thoroughbred songsmith with solo project J. Bernardt and band Balthazar, is nothing short of dominating the Belgian alternative rock scene. Kortrijk, embrace your sons and let this rock and rolling, genius entertainer with a velvet crooner's voice play you around on Sunday, August 31!
Carried along on a sultry Portuguese Saudade breeze, this Leuven-based foursome mixes indie pop and subtle electronica spearheaded by frontwoman Brenda Corijn's powerful, phenomenal voice. Spherical ambient, southern guitars and conjuring percussion that form the perfect soundtrack for a sultry summer evening.
In 2022, this indie-folk, Americana trio won the country's three premier music competitions: Humo's Rock Rally, Stubru's De Nieuwe Lichting and Sound Track. Talk about a flying start... With first pitch 'Save It For Later' from 2024, for which the three ladies dove into studio with producer Willem Ardui (blackwave.), the high expectations were effortlessly fulfilled. Via Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop, among others, the course towards Kortrijk has already been set.
