With Malandra, Ão offers an ode to complexity, multiplicity and the beauty of ‘searching’ in all its forms. The album sounds deeper, more rhythmic, playful, tender and harder than their debut Ao Mar, and will be presented live during a 2026 European tour, with the Belgian release show at Ancienne Belgique.
