With Tattoorist - Live, Tijs Vanneste and Tangled Horns take audiences on a musical road trip through Europe, a project born from a television adventure and brought to the stage.
The project grew out of the six-part Canvas series Tattoorist, in which Vanneste traveled as a traveling tattoo artist and storyteller through London, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Vienna, and Berlin, meeting artists who revealed the soul of their cities through their work.
New music also emerged during this journey. For each city, Vanneste wrote soundscapes and arrangements that translate the atmosphere of these European cities into sound. These compositions form the basis of Tattoorist - Live, a concert in which music, stories, and images merge.
For the live performance, Vanneste is joined by Tangled Horns, a guitar band from the Kempen region with a strong live reputation in Belgium and the Netherlands. Their raw energy gives the songs from Tattoorist a new intensity.
The result is a musical spectacle where European influences, rock energy, and personal stories come together.
