With an insane post-punk sound, Fenne Kuppens' deep voice and haunting, intense concerts, Whispering Sons quickly made a name for themselves on the Belgian music scene. Their latest and third album “The Great Calm,” which is more playful and perhaps even upbeat than before, surprises but retains the Whispering Sons DNA of raw energy and dark emotion.
