Let's come together and celebrate 20 years of madness

Brent Vanneste celebrated his 30th birthday last year when he played at a Polish festival with his band STAKE. “We were there in front of 70,000 people and then went bungee jumping over the festival grounds. No crazier way to celebrate a birthday,” the frontman chuckles. And yet that's just what STAKE - the band formerly known as Steak Number Eight - is planning on November 1st (sold-out) and 2nd (still some tickets left) in Kortrijk, Belgium: to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary with “the biggest and craziest show of our lives, at a unique venue and as the only STAKE live concert in 2024!”

Brent Vanneste (guitar/vocals), Cis Deman (guitar), Joris Casier (drums) and Jesse Surmont (bass) have been on the road for 18 years. First as Steak Number Eight ( taking them as young dogs to win Humo's Rock Rally in 2007) and since 2018 as STAKE. The Voskenslaan in Ghent is their mecca. This is where they rehearse and also recorded “Love, Death And Decay. It has become a close collaboration where all group members contributed to the lyrics and the band was also at the control knobs themselves in the studio for the first time.
