A fragile voice, catchy melodies, romantic lyrics, and simplicity: Bernard (22) was born with the perfect songwriter DNA. The singer and multi-instrumentalist has been playing violin since the age of three, and soon picked up piano and guitar as well. He studied at the Pop & Jazz Studio in Antwerp, but quickly turned out to be a school dropout to whom no standard formula applies. His internal compass, however, knows exactly where to go: music, in his own way, is the A-to-Z plan.
In the summer of 2025, he will record his debut EP. In the meantime, his talent has already caught the attention of Belpop legends like Jasper Steverlinck, with whom Bernard has shared the studio multiple times. Jasper has already invited him to open for his Lotto Arena shows in December '25.
Bernard is a ‘no BS type of guy’ who embraces the simplicity of music. As an intuitive performer, he dares to leave silences and delivers his lyrics to the audience with the principle: less is more.
