Jean Valery is a Belgian artist who brings a distinctive blend of hip-hop, alternative rap, and rock. Best known as one half of the hip-hop duo blackwave., one of Belgium's most successful hip-hop acts, Jean Valery is now stepping into the spotlight with his solo project. With this project, Jean draws inspiration from artists like Dominic Fike and Gorillaz. His debut album, produced by Tobie Speleman (J Bernardt, Bobbi Lu), is set for release in late February 2025.
Valery’s first single, DRIVE ME CRAZY, made a big impact, spending 14 weeks in the charts of De Afrekening on Studio Brussel. Following this success, he released two more singles, BREAK FREE and WHO GOT LOST?. With his upcoming headline shows at AB Brussels on March 15 and Wintercircus Ghent on March 22, Jean Valery is set to make his mark as a solo artist to watch.
