Orchestra Baobab combines Afro-Cuban rhythms, traditional Wolof influences, and swinging Congolese rumba into an infectious blend of vintage world music and jazz. With a rock-solid live band and a deep groove, this legendary Senegalese orchestra delivers a sound that is as tight as it is dynamic—a seamless fusion of virtuosity and spontaneity.
Following notable appearances at festivals such as Glastonbury and North Sea Jazz, Orchestra Baobab—more than fifty years after their formation in Dakar—continues to prove themselves one of the most versatile and timeless live acts around today.
On October 23, 2026, the album "Made In Senegal" was released via Strut Records.
